Hailing from beautiful Charlottesville, Virginia, Emerson is an actor, director, and teaching artist who uses joy as his creative engine to discover the good, the true, and the beautiful. Select Shakespeare acting credits: Leontes in The Winter's Tale, Malvolio in Twelfth Night, Dromio of Ephesus in The Comedy of Errors, and Friar Laurence in Romeo and Juliet. Select Shakespeare directing credits: Coriolanus. Emerson apprenticed as a teaching artist at the Stella Adler Arts Justice Division, and works with Bloom Performing Arts. He is also co-artistic director of his own artistic collective: Galileo Theatre Company.
